Jenny grew up in D-town – DeSoto, that is – and graduated from Texas Tech University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Marketing. Prior to coming to Lake Pointe Church in 2007, Jenny spent seven years in the corporate world wearing business suits and heels every day and working with some of the highest profile executives and business leaders in Dallas. She won Rookie Rep of the Year, trained several organizations in marketing and sales, and helped lead one of the largest charity walks in the country. After the birth of her second child, she decided to stop putting a million miles on her car and find a career closer to home – one with a seven-minute commute, to be exact.

As the Director of Project Management, Jenny creates organization out of chaos. At the early stages of communicating events and opportunities, the creativity flow can look like the $5 DVD bin at Wal-Mart. Jenny organizes that flow so that every aspect of the communications strategy looks more like an open shelf straight out of a Chip & Jo-Jo house remodel. Everything has its place and everyone knows what their responsibilities are. Defining the scope of a project and its appropriate communication vehicles, as well as ensuring timely project completion, are her jam.

Jenny is married to Bret, whom she met on eHarmony, and they have three kids: Madeline, Landon and Caroline. When she’s not working, she enjoys Netflix binging, filling a Target shopping cart with all the things, cheering on her family, a good cup of coffee, and leading and encouraging women in the community for Christ.
